How to View Message by Shareholder?

The shared message can be viewed by the shareholder when you share access to the cap table. There are two types of access granted:

• The shareholder access provides access to view grants and documents, participate in board resolutions, and sign electronic certificates.
• Full access or admin access gives full access to the company’s cap table.

View shared message 

On Eqvista, the shareholder can view the shared message in the message section, depending on their access type.

Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Once the message is shared, an email will be sent to the shareholder. A sample of the email that appears to the shareholder. 

Note: The shareholder is notified by email and full message is included in the email when the options are selected while creating message. 

The shareholder should click on “Open Message” and then log into Eqvista.

Step 2: Once clicked, it redirects to the shareholder access view dashboard, and then click on “Messages” on the left-hand side.

Step 3: Here, you will see the list of messages shared with you.

Note: The messages in which you are one of the recipients will appear. Check out the support article to learn more about creating messages.

Step 4: After you click the message, you will be redirected to the details of the message.
