Shareholder Access View Dashboard
If you are using Eqvista, the account owner can not only quickly grant access to anyone on your account but also assign the type of access that the various roles have.
With shareholder access, stakeholders can view their grants, participate in board resolution, request and sign electronic certificates for themselves, and sign grant acceptances.
Here is a guide to help you understand the dashboard:
Step 1: Log into your Eqvista account and select the company account.
Once you do this, you will be redirected to the shareholder access view dashboard. On this page, you will find data to manage your transactions from the dashboard.
SCENARIO 1 – No Equity
SCENARIO 2 – Equity with No Vesting Plans
SCENARIO 3 – Equity with Vesting Plans
A detailed feature-by-feature analysis of the dashboard will help you understand it better.
PANEL 1
If some or all of your shares have vesting plans, you can see a number in percentage that represents the “Vesting Progress”. Under the heading, the percentage shows the vested shares amount (stocks, options, warrants if any) divided by all share grants with vesting plan. It is the proportion of vested out of the total shares granted with a vesting schedule.
PANEL 2
Moving to the next section of the dashboard, it provides the “Equity Value” on the top center of the page.
A company’s equity value is the total value that may be attributed to equity stakeholders. It is also known as the market value of equity or market capitalization.
Equity Value = Sum of Equity Value of Common stock + Preferred stock + Options + Warrants + Convertible Notes
For Equity with No Vesting Plans, the equity value graph can be seen on the dashboard as a horizontal bar chart below:
The graph shows the equity value of shares issued and each kind of security. To understand equity value and how to calculate it, check out the support article here!
The Fair Market Value Unavailable notification bar appears only when the company does not share the FMV with shareholders. To know how to share FMV with shareholders, check out the support article here!
PANEL 3
In the next section to the top right side of the page, you will be able to see the “Estimated 100% Vesting date”.
It is the date at which all shares are vested and you get complete ownership.
PANEL 4
Below the above panels discussed, you will see an “Equity Distribution” graph. When clicked, the graph shows the number of shares for each kind of security and which equity makes up how much of the company’s ownership.
PANEL 5
The next section is a graphical representation of the vesting process titled “My Equity”. When clicked, the percentage of shares that are vested and unvested during the vesting period is displayed on the graph.
PANEL 6
The next section on the dashboard is the “Vesting Status”. It specifies the conditions and time frames under which you can gradually acquire equity in segments until you reach full ownership.
The section also provides the timeline to see the details of the shares getting vested. Once you click on the highlighted grant name, you will be redirected to the source page.
Note: When issuing shares, options, and warrants, you can implement a vesting schedule. Check out the respective support articles to learn about this.
In addition to this, you can create your vesting plan or choose from six default plans. To know more about vesting plans, check out the support article here!
PANEL 7
The last section is dedicated to “My Tasks”. Here, you can see a list of pending tasks including signing forms, accepting grants, and uploading documents assigned to you.
It is also present on the left-hand side of the dashboard. When you click, you will be redirected to the source page where you can see the details of the tasks assigned to you.
