Capital committed is the product of price per share and share amount. There is also an option to enter a capital committed, which may differ from the product of share amount and price. In Eqvista, you can round the capital committed to two decimal places in the company settings. 

Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Log into Eqvista and select your company.

On the dashboard, click “Company” on the left to get a drop-down menu and then select “Profile”

Step 2: Once you click, you will be directed to the page that shows the details of your company. On the top right of the page, click “Edit” to edit the details of the company.

Step 3: There are two sections in the panel – Basic and Advanced. To change the capital committed rounding, you must click on “Advanced”.  A pop-up panel will appear, and you can change the capital committed rounding to a range of 0 to 2 decimal places.

In this case, we have selected 2 decimal places.

Once done, click on “Save”.


Step 4: With this done, the details of the capital committed rounding would be updated as shown below.

Step 5: You can view the rounding of capital committed by clicking Securities to get a drop-down, and selecting Equities. Once you click the equity class, you get the overview of the class along with the capital committed, rounded to two decimal places.

Then, click the grant name to view the equity grant details and capital committed rounding

In this case, click on the grant name “SA-002” to view the capital committed rounding.

Similarly, you can round vesting and share price to decimal places in the company settings.
