Eqvista at MATCH HOUSE During SF Tech Week 2026
On October 7, Eqvista joined MATCH HOUSE in San Francisco as a supporter during SF Tech Week by a16z.
Our COO, Brayton Johnson, represented Eqvista, connecting with founders and investors, hearing what they’re building, and sharing insights on equity management, 409A valuations, and private company valuations.

Connecting Founders and Investors at MATCH HOUSE
MATCH HOUSE isn’t your typical networking event. It brings together selected founders and investors through curated introductions based on company stage and investment interests, making it easier to have meaningful conversations.
San Francisco was the fifth MATCH HOUSE city this year, following Austin, Boston, New York, and Chicago. The event brought together over 1,200 founders, investors, and startup ecosystem professionals.
For Eqvista, it was a great opportunity to meet people building and investing in private companies, exchange perspectives, and hear firsthand about the challenges they’re facing as they grow.

Pulley’s Shutdown Came Up in Conversations
One topic that also came up during the event was Pulley’s upcoming shutdown on December 8, 2026.
For companies using Pulley, finding a new equity management provider is now an unexpected priority. Beyond choosing a platform, founders need to make sure their cap table history and equity records are preserved throughout the transition.
At Eqvista, we’re helping Pulley customers make that move with a special migration offer, including 30% off their current Pulley invoice, the rest of their Pulley term added free, and complimentary white-glove migration.
Our goal is to make the transition as simple as possible so founders can stay focused on building their companies.

Thanks for a Great Evening!
A big thank you to the MATCH HOUSE team for bringing everyone together, and to everyone who took the time to connect with Brayton.
