Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative at Eqvista, Inc., you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, setting up meetings for the sales team, and driving new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive, energetic, and target-driven individual who can thrive in a demanding, high-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including outbound prospecting, social media, and industry events. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Cold Outreach: Conduct cold calls and send personalized emails to engage with prospects and introduce Eqvista, Inc.’s solutions. Use effective sales techniques to capture interest and schedule meetings.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on their potential fit and readiness to engage with the sales team. Assess and prioritize leads to ensure they align with company criteria and sales goals.
- Sales Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team to understand target markets, ideal customer profiles, and sales strategies. Schedule and coordinate meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified leads.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities in the CRM system. Track and report on key metrics and performance indicators.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to effectively engage with prospects and tailor outreach strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor personal performance against targets and KPIs. Analyze results and continuously improve outreach strategies to maximize lead generation and conversion rates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align lead generation efforts with overall business objectives. Share feedback and insights to enhance lead generation strategies and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role, preferably in a technology or financial services environment. Experience in equity management or cap table solutions is a plus.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of successfully generating leads, qualifying prospects, and achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients. Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated in a fast-paced, demanding role. Demonstrated persistence and determination in achieving sales goals.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
