Eqvista Introduces New Report Feature
Eqvista is a sophisticated cap table application and our team continually works on making it better for our clients. With this, Eqvista just created a feature where you can now download different kinds of reports like the cap table report, secondary transactions report, and company shares report.
Report Feature in Eqvista
As mentioned above, the report feature helps you get individual reports that would have all the things detailed and explained for you to use in specific situations.
What is Eqvista Report Feature?
With Eqvista, you can now get the report of your company, cap table, and even your secondary transactions to use.
What’s included in the Report?
The report feature gives you three kinds of reports. To reach the reports on Eqvista, you will need to first log into your account and go to your company profile. You will reach the dashboard of the company. On the left-side main menu, you will see the option that says, “Report”. Click on that and you will reach the page where you can see all three kinds of reports. To select each of the reports, you need to click on the name, and you will get a description for each of them along with the button to download the report.
To help you understand better, each of these reports has been explained below in detail:
#1 Cap table Report
The first report that you will come across is the cap table report under this feature. This would give you the cap table excel sheet that you can use. The cap table report includes the updated cap table of the company with the total ownership of the company of each shareholder. You will see the information listed by the type of security, ownership %, and capital committed.
Here is how to get the cap table report on the Eqvista application:
Here, you can see the option to “generate report”. By clicking on this, the report would be downloaded to your system. And when you open the excel document, there would be two sheets. The first one is just an introduction to what the sheet is about. The second one would be the cap table details as shown below:
The sheet would show you all you need to know about who owns what in the company and how much they own it.

It would explain all about how many kinds of securities are there and which equity classes are there for each share kind (common and preferred shares). You will also be able to see who owns what debt (convertible notes), options, and warrants with the company.
In short, this company shares report includes all the primary issuances in the company. The report would hold information about the common shares, preferred shares, options, warrants, and convertible notes.
