Vesting Report for Company and Stakeholder
A vesting report holds all the information regarding the total amount vested during a certain period for common & preferred stock, options, and warrants. It also includes the amount of unvested shares at the beginning and end of the vesting period.
Here are the steps to follow:
Step 1: Log into your Eqvista account and choose the company account.
On the dashboard, click on “Reports” on the left side to get the drop-down menu and select “Vesting Report”.
Note: To generate a vesting report, you must implement a vesting schedule while issuing shares, options, and warrants. In addition to this, create your vesting plan or choose from six default plans. To know about vesting plans, check out the support article here!
Step 2: Once you select, you will see the report information and two options to generate the report. You begin by selecting the option:
- Company: The report will include all grants associated with vesting schedules for the entire company.
- Stakeholder: The grants associated with vesting schedules for the specific stakeholder will be included in the report.
In case, you have selected the option “Stakeholder” – type the stakeholder’s name. If you want to change the stakeholder, click the “X Change Stakeholder”.
After choosing the option, you need to select the start date and end date. To download, click on the “Generate Report” button.
Step 3: When you click on this, the report gets downloaded as an Excel sheet in your Downloads.
Step 4: Double-click the Excel sheet to open the downloaded report.
The report has two sheets – Vesting Report and Transaction Detail. The first sheet is a cover that tells you what you will find and the company name.
Click “Transaction Detail” to see the second sheet, which looks like this.
Note: For more detailed information on the details of the downloaded report, check out our support article.
