Canceling my subscription plan
Note: If you’re going to take a break from payments, we recommend canceling your subscription rather than stopping payments. Simply discontinuing payments may result in your account being marked as Late Payment and, finally, Frozen.
Step 1: Log into your Eqvista account and select your company profile.

On the dashboard, click on “subscription” from the left-side list of options. Then, click on “Detail” to update your settings.

Step 2: You will instantly be redirected to the page where you can see all the details for the subscription.

You will be able to see that the premium plan is active as shown in the image above. To cancel the subscription, you will have to select the panel that you see on the bottom right side of the page. Click on the button that says “Change Plan” to cancel the plan. But as per the message shared above, “if you cancel the premium plan, it remains active until the end of the subscription period (which is one month)”.
Step 3: Once you click “Change Plan”, you will be redirected to the page below. Here, click “Select Plan” under the free plan, or if you want to cancel the process, click “Cancel Change”.

Step 4: Once you click on “Select Plan”, a pop-up window will appear as shown below.

It will ask you, “Are you sure you want to switch your premium subscription to freemium?” You can select the option “Confirm” if you are sure or “Back” if you would like to reverse the choice. In this case, we click on “Confirm”.
After selecting “Confirm”, you will receive an email confirming that your premium subscription has been cancelled.

Step 5: After receiving an email confirmation, you will see “your subscription has been cancelled and will expire on a specified date” on your dashboard. Click on “Subscription” to get a drop-down menu and select “Detail”.
Note: Check out the support article to learn how to renew your subscription before your account expires.

Step 6: Then, you will be redirected to the page below. If you want to continue with the plan, you can easily have it done by clicking on the option that says “Resume” on the right side.

Just to highlight, the bill is usually made for a month so if you cancel the plan, it will still stay active until the end of the billing period. You will even see a message that says this on the top right side of the page. By canceling the plan, you are actually *restricting the system to bill your card for the next month, but you will still have access to the account until the end of the period.
Note: If you have increased the number of shareholders in the premium plan after the last billing payment, further charges may apply, depending on any additions according to the pro-rata pricing. Check out our support article on Premium Plan Pricing for more details.
Just like this, you can easily cancel a subscription and stop the further billing on your card. To know more about how Eqvista works, check out the support articles here!
