Subscribing to a premium plan

If you have been using Eqvista for a while now, you know that you will need to subscribe to the premium plan once you have 20 shareholders in your company and you want to add more.

Not sure how to do this? Here is a step-by-step process that can help you.

Step 1: Log into your Eqvista account and select the company account to subscribe to premium.

On the dashboard, click on “Company Name” on the left-hand side to get a drop-down menu and select the company. 

Step 2: Then, click on “Shareholders” on the left-hand side of the dashboard. Here, you will see all the shareholders created.

Step 3: Once you click on the button “Add Shareholders”, a new panel will appear. Here, you will see the total number of shareholders already added and the number of free shareholders you can still add to the cap table without subscribing to the premium plan.

Let us say that you are trying to add the 21st shareholder to your company account on Eqvista under the shareholder section as shown below.

Note: As Eqvista only allows up to 20 shareholders at one time, you will have to subscribe to the premium plan so that you can add more shareholders. 

Eqvista will notify you to subscribe to the premium plan when you are trying to add more than 20 shareholders to your company account.

Below the field to add the name of the shareholder, you will also see a message that says, “Subscribe to premium plan to add more shareholders”.

You can add in all the details of the shareholder here, but you will not be able to “Save” the details.

Step 4: For a premium subscription, you need to click on the option that says “Subscription” on the left side of the dashboard. Then, click on the “Detail” option. 

Once you do this, you will be redirected to the following page. 

Here, you will see the features you get for each plan, as listed below:

The freemium plan allows you to have:

• Maximum of 20 shareholders
• Up to 3 users
• Standard features

The premium plan allows you to have:

• Unlimited shareholders ($2 per shareholder)
• Unlimited account users
• Advanced features

The enterprise plan allows you to have:

• All features of Premium
• FREE Cap Table Setup (Value $350) 
• Annual Corporate Filings
• Unlimited 409a valuations

Since we are aiming to subscribe to the premium plan, you will first have to click on “Upgrade” under the premium plan. 

Step 5: Here, you need to enter the “Number of Shareholders” and add your credit/debit card number for the billing process.

In this case, we added 40 shareholders as you can see in the image above.

You will have to pay $2 for each shareholder. So, for 40 shareholders, you will have to pay $80 per month. 

Note: The billing process on Eqvista is very secure and is powered by Stripe. This means that your details are secure.

Just add in your billing details and click on “Order Subscription” to subscribe to the premium plan. 

As time passes, you will be able to see all the invoices and bills for the plan shared in the payments section, where you add your card number for the billing process.

Just like this, you can easily subscribe to a premium plan on Eqvista without much hassle.
