Managing common equity grants is now easier and efficient with Eqvista. The Spreadsheet function allows users to add, edit, delete shareholders and grants in bulk and view all information in one place. It works similarly to Excel, but you can store all of your information in one place and not risk losing your records. 

Here is the step-by-step guide to viewing the table for common equity grants under Spreadsheet view.

Please note: the Spreadsheet feature is only available to Premium account holders. Please upgrade your account if you want to unlock this feature.

Step1: Login to your Eqvista account and select your company profile. On the Dashboard, click on “Cap Table” from the left side menu.

Step 2: Now, click on “Spreadsheet” and a page will open for you as shown below. Under the “Select Table Type” menu on the right hand side corner, click “Common equity grants”.

Step 3: Under the “Manage Company Common Equity Grants” page, you can perform various spreadsheet functions like create, edit or delete existing and new shareholders. You can add a new shareholder, equity class, grant name, share amount, share price, and other vesting details. After you have added or edited the details, click on the “Check before save” button.

Note: Grants under the same equity class must have an equal Equity class name, otherwise the system will create a separate class. During the saving process, every new class name would create a new equity class.  In order to add grants with non-existing shareholders, you would need to switch to the “Shareholder” table and add new ones, then click the “Save” button.


Step 4: After your information has been checked, two things can happen: either you can now save the information to your company profile, or some information may be missing or incorrect. Once the information has been checked/edited, click on “Save”.

Step 5: After data processing, the shareholder details will be added to the spreadsheet under the “common equity grants” table as shown below.
