2 Factor Authentication

This authentication comes up every time the user wants to log in. If you, the user, are using the same system to log into your Eqvista account every day, then you can easily select “Don’t ask for 15 days”.

Here is how the two-factor authentication works:

Step 1: Go to the Eqvista login page. Ensure that you already have an account on Eqvista before you follow these steps.

Once you reach the login page, add in your email address and your password.

You can also click on the option “Remember me”. Once you have done this, click on “Submit”.

Step 2: When you do this, you will reach the next page as shown below:

Here, you will see that the application has just sent you an email with a confirmation code. This is the second step in the authentication process. To get the code, you will have to check your email.

Ensure that the email you are cross-checking with is the one which you registered on Eqvista. If you did not get the code yet, click on “Request new code” above the message “Did not receive email from us?”.

Step 3: Check your email and you will have received an email that looks like this:

Copy the code from the email or memorize it.

Step 4: Now, go back to the login page for Eqvista and add this code in the space provided.

Once you add in the code, you can then move ahead and click on “Confirm” to login.

To make sure that you do not have to add the code every time you login through the same system, click on the check-box with the message “Don’t ask for 15 days”. With this, you will not have to add the confirmation code for the next fifteen days and can log in without this two-factor authentication.
