  • Equity classes, Convertible Notes, Options, ESOP
  • Investment rounds – Pre-seed, Seed A, B, C

No, There is no limit to the number of data that can be exported from Carta to Eqvista.

We will take 3-5 working days for the complete migration.

6. My subscription is still active in Carta; can I have a free period in Eqvista?

If you currently have a subscription with Carta, we will waive your subscription with us for that period of time. We help the entire process of migration free of cost. Additionally, we offer a free period for the remaining Carta subscription plan.

For example, if your subscription with Carta is active till June, we will waive the subscription fee for the next six months. You will have free access to our platform up to June 30, 2024.

7. How will billing and payment be handled during the transition period from Carta To Eqvista?

  • Freemium: Free of charge
  • Premium: 7-days free trial period, monthly charge afterwards
  • Enterprise: Sign an engagement letter before onboarding and charge monthly

8. What steps do I need to take to start the transition process from Carta To Eqvista?

The entire process of transition from Carta to Eqvista involves:

  • Basic Info (number of shareholders) 
  • Share Access to Carta /Download the reports from Carta and share them.  
  • Choose a subscription plan (Enterprise, premium, freemium). Need to sign an engagement letter for the enterprise plan.

9. Will I need to agree to Eqvista’s Terms of Service, and will Carta’s Terms of Service no longer apply?

When the client’s Carta subscription expires, access to Carta services is no longer available. Carta and Eqvista services do not conflict, although typically, you would only need one provider.

When we export data from Carta, we make a copy of everything, not deleting data.

10. How can I get a copy of my company’s cap table data before switching to Eqvista?

You can download it from Carta.

11. Is it possible to review and edit cap table data before importing it to Eqvista?

Yes. It is also possible to make changes to the cap table after importing it into Eqvista.
