Completing Milestones in vesting plans
Not sure how to do this? The following step by step guide will help you.
Step 1: Log into your account on Eqvista and select your company profile. Once you do this, you will reach the Dashboard of your company. Here, click on “Cap table” and then “Vesting and plans”. With this, you will reach the following page.
Click on the name of the shareholder that you want to mark the milestone as completed. In this case, there is only one person who was offered the shares, which is “James Gracia”.
Step 2: The moment you do this, you will reach the page where the issuance details would be displayed along with the vesting details. Click on the vesting plan name – which is “Milestone Plan 1” in this case.
Note: You can also click the option that says “view plan” in the initial step as shown below to reach the milestone plan directly.
Step 3: As soon as you do this, you will be directed to the next page where you will see the vesting plan details. Here, you can mark the milestone that has been completed as shown below.
Step 4: Click on the option that says “Complete” beside the milestone that you want to make completed for this vesting plan.
Once you do this, you will be asked to fill in the date of when the milestone was completed. Add the date from the calendar option.
Step 5: Once you do this, click on save as shared below to finalize it.
If you want to cancel the process, you can also click on the cross sign beside the date you just added. Just so you know, you will be able to see the details of the person who was offered shares using the vesting plan. There will be a part that says “vested so far”. This will show you the number of shares that have been vested from the total number of shares offered.
Step 6: Once you click on save, the milestone will be marked as complete as shown below.
And with that, you will also see that the number of shares vested so far would increase as per the plan.
Just like this, you will be able to mark the milestones in the vesting plan as complete. To know more about how to use Eqvista, check out the other support articles here!
