Role Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, Product at Eqvista, Inc., you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both frontend and backend components of our equity management platform. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to deliver robust, scalable, and user-centric features. Your expertise in full stack development will be critical in shaping the product’s functionality and ensuring a seamless experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions across both frontend and backend systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.
• Feature Development: Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and implement new features, enhancements, and improvements that align with the product vision and user needs.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards in both frontend and backend development.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize both frontend and backend components to improve application performance, including load times, responsiveness, and overall system efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering, to gather requirements, understand user needs, and deliver integrated solutions.
• Testing and Debugging: Implement and maintain comprehensive testing frameworks for both frontend and backend components. Debug and resolve issues to ensure a high-quality product.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for code, features, and processes to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continually enhance the product’s capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex features across both frontend and backend systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, C#).
• Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), including schema design and query optimization.
• API Development: Experience with RESTful API design and integration, with a focus on creating efficient and scalable interfaces.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with equity management or financial services technology.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
